NAMING WHAT PEOPLE FEEL—BUT OFTEN DON’T KNOW HOW TO SAY.

SPEAKING, MEDIA & MEANINGFUL CONVERSATION

I’m available for workshops, retreats, and conversations that change something.

We live in a time where people are holding it all together on the outside, while deeply suffering behind the scenes.

I use stories, insight, and science to reach people where they are—and move them somewhere new.

✓ Holding it all together—and what it’s costing you

✓ The pain that often hides behind high performance

✓ What suffering makes possible—without bypassing it

✓ Who you can become when life doesn’t go as planned

✓ Trauma: what it does to the brain and body, and how to harness its creative power

✓ Conflict as a doorway, not a dead end

✓ The brain and nervous system—how real change happens

I’m Lacey Johnson— A trauma therapist, columnist, and former mental health journalist.

As a trauma survivor, I’ve been to the edges of what some don’t survive—and I’ve spent years putting language to what people often feel but can’t explain.

For over a decade, I translated psychology and the nuances of the human experience into well-researched articles and essays that moved people.

Now, I bring that same voice into therapy rooms and conversations that move them toward the change they crave.
